The three major gaming consoles are PS3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii.
Finding the right one for your family can be difficult especially if you are looking for family friendly gaming.
Here are some tips as you determine the direction your family will take:
1. READ REVIEWS OF THE GAMES YOUR CHILDREN WANT TO PLAY: there are several reviews you can find online (we’ll list some below). Find the reviews that have screen shots and even video of gameplay. That way you’ll know exactly what your child is playing. We also still recommend you watch your children as they play on a regular basis.
2. CHECK THE GAME RATING ON THE BOX BUT DO NOT TRUST IT: The ratings are M for Mature, T for Teen, and E for Everyone. However, your opinion could be VERY DIFFERENT from the rating so don’t depend upon the rating alone… check it out yourself.
