Chase and Sam… didn’t know where to post this, but, per our conversation today on the show about JOOMLA!, there are two books that I have purchased that help a lot, in order of preference:
Beginning Joomla! From Novice to Professional (ISBN-10: 1-59059-848-2)
Professional Joomla! (ISBN: 978-0-470-13394-1)
Also, you mentioned YOOTheme.com, let me also suggest another provider of great Joomla templates, RocketTheme.com. RocketTheme’s creater, is Rhuk, the designer of the demo template that comes with the Joomla 1.0.x install.
By the way, if I were going to install Joomla! right now, I’d start with Joomla! 1.5 rather than having to learn 1.0.x and then have to re-learn the significant improvements in the system.
Just a note to help.

OH! One more thing…. there is a module/desktop application combination that allows you to write your content articles on the desktop, and then upload it to your site… GREAT help!!! You can even save the articles to the desktop until you want to upload it at a later time, and as always, you still have control over the publish date and expiry date, as well.
The program is called Blogg=X. You can google it and download it from the website.
