Now - what do you do with those buttons? First of all, to simply get the mp3 file, all you have to do is right click on the listen now graphic, "select save target as" and then save the .mp3 file to your desktop (or some other easy to find place) Once you've saved the file, double click on the file, and it will play in your audio player. This isn't exactly podcasting, of course, but it's pretty easy!
So, what exactly is it? According to the Wikipedia: "Podcasting" is making audio files (most commonly in MP3 format) available online in a way that allows software to automatically download the files for listening at the user's convenience." If you want to get started in podcasting, you'll need a podcasting client - I recommend Ipodder, and to get it: Right Click Here and select "save target as" and save it to your desktop. Once you've downloaded it, double click on the file to install.
To subscribe to the Tech Talk Podcast Feed, you would right click the image above that says "XML Podcast" and choose Copy Link Location (or Copy Shortcut Location).
You can also cut and paste one or both of these : http://feeds.feedburner.com/Chaseandsamindex (New Podcast and Latest updates)
http://feeds.feedburner.com/ChaseandSamTechTalkPodcast (classic Tech Talk Podcast)
After that, click the check for new podcasts button, and Ipodder will download all available Tech Talk shows. (They will be in .mp3 form, and available in the Ipodder download folder) Ipodder will automatically download the Tech Talk Podcast every week, and notify you when it's available - you can also subscribe to other feeds, so play around with it and find out what's available!
Still confused? Check out this excellent four minute video introduction to Podcasting and Ipodder, it should answer all of your questions! If you'd rather read: then click here to read the Ipodder manual
